Summer Camp Brochure Outer Panels

This is the outside panel for the Summer Camp Brochure...It is still under construction because we are waiting on photos, but I do want to use a nicer quality of the photo I have for the cover.

Summer Camp Brochure Inner Panels

This is the final for the inside of the Summer Camp Brochure. Coach Pyzik loved it, so no changes were needed.

Play4Kay Banner Final 5

These are the final changes to the banners that I was asked to make...A final one has not yet been picked.

Play4Kay Banner Designs

These are some designs for the Play4Kay Banner that Coach hopes to have hung for the Play4Kay game. The bulleted ones are the banners she liked but wanted me to make small edits to, particularly because of the possibility of a campus name change.

LCWB Postcard

Here is the final for the postcard...It was a slight struggle because the only pictures we had were taken by a player's parent and he didn't have any pictures of the girls with their hands up about to break from the huddle...This was the next best one to what we were looking for...It was made into a B&W photo and a filter was added.

LCWB Mission Statement Final

Lynchburg College Women's Soccer New Logo

During my internship, I've also had the pleasure of doing some work for other people in the Athletic Office. I re-worked the Lynchburg College Women's Soccer team logo because after hearing that the school may be changing their name in the future, Coach Olsen said the logo had to be changed as well; and lastly, the team won a National Championship, so their logo needed to have a gold star added to it, which is the European tradition after winning a title.

Re-working the logo was tricky because I could not figure out the font that was used or one that was even close, it was then that I discovered there are Font Recognition tools available. It was actually surprising to me that I hadn't previously tried to figure out a font and that this was the first time I have come across this problem. The program that I stuck with and was most helpful to me during this project was a program called FontEdge-- http://fontedge.matton.se I feel confident that I will use this program many times in the future and I am happy I found it!
